Many years ago, a judge put my dog up amongst some very heavy and quality competition, and made me feel really good....it was a very special win for personal reasons, and I felt that I wanted to write a thank you, but then thought it might not be taken as the heartfelt thank you I wanted it to be, so I didn't do it. Any thoughts on that? Kelly Busse, Wolfheart German Shepherds When I started showing in the early 70's I sent a photo and thank you to every judge that awarded points or a good win to my dogs. Then when photos got to be over $50. to get 2 of them, I had to stop or show less. For a huge win - finishing a dog, 1st BOB or something like that, I would still do that. My significant other judges.....he gets perhaps 1 photo and a thank you out of maybe every 10-12 dogs he may have put up - and by the way, he still has every one in a file that has been sent to him.
