You have my permission to crosspost: The Animal Advisory Commission has put back on the agenda the spay/neuter ordinance or rather the Sterilization Ordinance and dropped the Breeding Permit or rather tabled it for another night but with this group anything goes. Roberts Rules of Order Means nothing to these guys. Remember back in April the AAAC voted on the Mandatory Spay/Neuter and Breeding Permit together in one Ordinance but they could not get a City Council Member to sponsor the bill so they have decided to drop the Breeding Permit for now or just separate it from the Spay/Neuter Ordinance. I bet they have changed some of the wording or mixed it up or toned it down so they can slip it by us and then maybe get a City Council Member to sponsor it. THIS COMMITTEE IS ALL ANIMAL RIGHTS PEOPLE BUT ONE AND SHE IS ALL ALONE AMONG A RUNAWAY CRAZY RADICAL COMMISSION. THEY HATE BREEDERS SO IF YOU ARE BORED THIS COMING TUESDAY NIGHT AND WANT TO DO SOMETHING FUN, COME HELP FILL THE ROOM. Debbie ____________________________________________________________________________ From Responsible Pet Owners Alliance TX-RPOA E-News September 18, 2005 The Austin Animal Advisory Commission continues to push the Animal Rights Agenda to end all use, breeding and ownership of animals. Note the referral to the Sterilization Ordinance on Tuesday's agenda (below), which is a mandate for spay/neuter of all dogs and cats in Austin coupled with a breeding permit. This proposal is a proven failure in many other cities in the US. The true pet lovers in Austin are urged to attend this meeting. This is not a breeding issue, this is a pet lovers' issue. **************************************************** http://www.ci.austin.tx.us/agenda/2005/anac_092005.htm Animal Advisory Commission NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE ANIMAL ADVISORY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF AUSTIN, TEXAS WILL CONVENE ON TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 20, 2005 6:30 P.M. at the TOWN LAKE ANIMAL CENTER, 1156 W.
