With no Pharoah Hound to stir things up all is quiet here. Sissy is not eating
still. I suspect that it is either a food allergy that she has decided matters
(tests have been run, waiting for results) or she is so damn submissive that
she just can't eat when everyone else is eating. I am still working under this
therory and trying to give her the impression that she is getting left overs
and thus it is safe for her to eat.
This problem cropped up about 2 weeks ago. She is barely eating at all right
now. I don't want to use flavor to get her to eat, as I don't think that is
the issue. And most flavor is meat and she was getting too much protein
before. Stopping the extra meat did not stop her from eating right away, so I
am not convienced that it is a flavor issue. And I won't be bullied into
pampering any of my dogs.

Glad to oblige, Jamie. It's a beautiful, fall day and we just finished cutting
everyone's nails, brushing them and cleaning their ears. Jude and Burns the
Wonder Dog are outside running around with Forest. Boo-Boo is still isolated in
the kennel, since she is in season. And she is NOT HAPPY--we aren't either,
since it's apparent that she want to breed with Burns (the lab.) ICK!! Jeddie
just fed her brood and is in her crate, resting. The pups are outside on grass
in an exercise pen for the first time. Brando is asleep in his crate.
And . . .ththththat's alllll folks!
