Thanks Joan. That is a great suggestion.
I was just advised (which I had forgotten), that Salt Lake City is a Delta
hub, so I will add that to my list.

BTW.... Continental and Northwest are now one airline in reality and neither
do excess baggage just cargo which as I pointed out before gets horribly

It is my understanding that the hub airports can change from time to =
time.
If anyone is able to supplement or revise the above list, please let me
know, as I do save it as a reference on this issue.
We have tried to do exactly that - to search for sites that are within a
manageable driving distance of hub airports, and that also fit all of =
our
other criteria. However, another key consideration is the stated wish =
of
the membership that the National rotate from East to Middle to West, =
etc.,
and that it be the first week of November. The only airport on the =
above
list in the West is Denver, which has been criticized for other reasons. =
It
has been suggested that Minneapolis, Chicago, Detroit, and maybe Newark, =
are
potentially very iffy at that time of year. So, the challenge: to =
balance
the priorities and to arrive at solutions that work, given all of the =
issues
and difficulties.=20
If anyone knows of potential sites within commuting distance of:
Atlanta
Houston
Dallas
Newark
Minneapolis
Detroit
Miami
Charlotte
Philadelphia
Chicago
Chigago
Cincinnati
Denver
Memphis
which have the potential to accommodate all our events, are dog-friendly =

It seems to me that the first place to begin is the HUB.
If we know the airports that are hubs first, then we can begin the =
