I see we are "discussing" a tired subject yet again. I believe that a "good dog" can do it in both (types of conformation) rings and most of the dogs I've owned could. We have ONE standard and I also think breeders/exhibitors/owners have created the schism. Isn't the commonality of owning the best breed in the world ENOUGH to keep us together? Evidently not. We all have our own interests-- conformation, performance, with many of us just wanting sound, healthy pets. Who's right and who's wrong? Everybody and nobody! The Review accepts advertising and articles of all types, doesn't it? 'Nuff said.
