I asked if they were the ASPCA and they said no We are the Humane Society of
Oregon. So you have no idea who they are. If it is alocal shelter they would go
by Deschutes County animal control. I believe this is true. Lorry can you help
me out here?

Terry, That is to your LOCAL Humane Society. I don't know if your local HS is
a good one or not, but many Local HSs are now saying "we are your LOCAL Humane
Society, we are NOT Humane Society of the United States" I don't do that
through PetSmart, simply because I donate directly to the local rescues, etc.
Please continue to donate to your local shelters, rescues, etc., check them out
to see who they are and what they do. The HSUS does not own, operate or
contribute to any local Humane Society.
