She just turned two. She has a BH (which is like a combination of the CGC and whatever the 'entry level' obedience title is that AKC offers), but she has not had *any* ring training, and I have to get a show rating on her for her breed survey. I want her to be able to show as best she can, even though she's a working line dog and I don't plan on continuing to show her, because she has nice conformation and I don't want to be out there wasting the judge's time fighting with an unruly gray dog. You know? I'm one of those that strives for perfection, even if I just need something to 'get by.' I don't like all the chaos of double handling; I want her to do what she needs to do because she knows what she needs to do - not because I'm outside the ring running around clanging on pots and pans or whatever to get her attention. I'll work on what you (and others) have suggested and let you know how it goes.
