We do need to recognize this. I enjoy the dog shows for the feeling of
being united in a common goal, without the interference of race, religion, or
ethnicity. We all come together and there is no thought of where we come
from, what our families believe in, or that it is currently Ramadan.
Today a new enthusiast asked me why we do this, is there money involved?
I thought about it, and realized we don't do this for money, or fame. It
is for the fun of it, and when we forget that, it is time to change our
passions.
Ed said it better, but we should all remember why we do this, and who we
are.
I just realized after reading his post, Ed is black. Did you notice that?
