I read most of the posts about the website of that breeder using Rin Tin Tin in an incorrect manner. I saw that, being contacted, it was changed to a proper way already. I really do not think the word "bashing" fits in this case, but Listers checking out something incorrect, talking about it and, YES, getting it better. See the related notes below others have written, about which I am writing herein. BTW - a neat way to help with space, repeats, etc. - When replying, you can delete anything to help with just your message or what you feel is needed for information. Also, this is neat - WHEN YOU ARE FORWARDING STUFF IN GENERAL OF YOU OWN (NOT LIST, THAT IS A NO NO) IN THE SECTION OF ADDRESSES, WRITE ONLY THE PEOPLE TO WHOM YOU WISH TO RECEIVE THE MESSAGE -- BUT -- PUT ALL NAMES IN THE BCC THAT WAY NO ONE'S E MAIL ADDY IS SEEN BY OTHERS, GOOD AND SAFE. Why do we at times bash someone's website and breeding on this List ? So what ? This IS a free country. We all know better, so why bash someone that just doesn't know better ??? Iza ************************************************************ This does bring up a good point. There are those in this world who want to inform, and then there are those who want to convince. Then we have those who want to make us believe they know more than we do, and that we are somehow inferior if we don't agree with them. What struck me was the line about the Rin Tin Tin dogs. Daphne Hereford has dedicated her life to protecting and continuing that line. She has never denigrated anyone else who would not want to agree with her, and now finds herself in litigation over the trademarks. I am handling that litigation but we should never forget the years and efforts from Ms. Hereford. She also is behind the work I am doing for the Junior Handlers. So, if someone wants to state some dislike for Rin Tin Tin dogs, they need to understand the place he holds in the popularity of our breed, and the person who has protected that image for so long. I wonder how many of our generation allowed Rinty and his show to influence our love of the breed?
