We have a homeowner's association out here, that does allow dogs in the
homes. However, they require a DNA test on each dog if the dog is to live in
one of the homes. The laboratory registers the dog and the DNA. Then if the
association finds any left over piles, they send a sample in for a test,
and the lab will identify the dog. They then fine the homeowner. If not
paid, it is a lien on the title.
Maybe we should do that at our shows. Swab the mouth of each dog there, and
then if there are piles left, send the samples to a lab. (As opposed to a
Lab, they are too stupid to care).
We could make it clear that any violation will bring sanctions, or maybe
loss of membership. Maybe we could get the Parent Club involved. After all,
they are for protection of the breed, or maybe the AKC who is the protector
of the shows.
Just the threat might be good enough to make people comply.
