Thank you Stormy for posting this news about Scott Parsons. I too have
known Scott for years since the beginning of my time in dogs as a young
junior.
Both he and Hobie Brown were there to encourge me on with my German
Shepherds. Not only were they involved with Sir Francis Drake Kennel Club but
several
of us also started another dog club in Novato called the Pacheco Kennel Club
but due to distance issues we were unsuccessful with keeping that club
alive. I will not forget his times with me early on. He and Hobie bred many
beautiful Afghans and became great judges.
I will look forward to hearing of his memorial in March.

"I am passing along some sad news. Scott was an afghan breeder here in CA
(Westwind), the long-time show chairman of Sir Francis Drake KC, a popular
hound judge, and also was a lot of fun. Scott passed away at 10:20 last
night.
It has been a very difficult time since Scott's massive stroke and heart
attack on New Year's Eve early morning. There is to be a Memorial of Life
sometime in March. We will keep every one posted."
