WHEN - April 2nd and 3rd, Sat. & Sun.
WHERE - Forrest City, AR at Best Western Colony Inn, Exit 241A off
Interstate 40, 870-633-0870 for room reservations. Show ring on the motel
grounds so unload, park your vehicle for a couple days and you can walk to
local restaurants or Super Wal-Mart.
WHO - Saturday judges include Fred Migliore for conformation; William L.
Chaillot, Sr. for obedience; and Scott Yergin for Fun Match following
completion of conformation judging with same day registration. Sunday
conformation judge is Michael Cheeks.
AMENITIES - small town atmosphere and prices; free hot breakfasts with room
voucher at Ole Sawmill Restaurant next to motel; other restaurants within
walking distance; show ring mostly surrounded by Flowering Pear trees that
should be in full bloom; Hospitality at motel Saturday afternoon after
judging; menus posted in motel lobby for local restaurants supporting our
shows with ads; show ring within shouting distance from all rooms; and a
great opportunity to kick back, socialize, and visit with dog friends on the
property after show hours.
Show ring is available to practice Friday afternoon or Saturday or Sunday
after show hours. Water hoses and electric outlets set up at several
convenient locations on premises. Acres of X-areas on motel grounds and
adjacent field.
