Yep!! When I won the 50/50 raffle at the Colorado National last year, B=
ill wrote me a check from, hopefully, that same account. That is, I hop=
e on other accounts we may have, our breed name IS spelled correctly. C=
ould it have been The Bank of America's fault?? After all, they ARE a m=
ajor supporter of the HSUS, so why would they have any respect for the n=
ame of a breed?
I showed the misspelling on the check to several people there and we got=
a good laugh. =
Maybe we should change our name to the Germen Shepard Dawg Klubb uf Amar=
aca?
I wonder if the gross spelling problems we are seeing nowadays is a resu=
lt of phonetics taught in our schools back in the 50's? I thought it st=
upid back then and I still do today. Do they still teach spelling that =
way in today's schools? Or, do our grandchildren now learn spelling Ala=
text-messaging?? =
LOL....TTYL...ROTFLMAF!! BTW, SpellCheck has NO problem with Shepard, a=
s long as it is capitalized...go figure!
