Mike..I agree..it is amazing that people can make statements implying that
I bred to a certain dog and had "no" problems"..then I bred to a different
dog and had "problems" A big part of being a good and ethical breeder is
recognizing issues in your bitch line..and not assigning blame solely on a
stud dog. Most if not all health issues that occur..occur because BOTH the
sire and dam carry the gene for it yes in some cases..some bitches and dogs
do seem to produce and inordinate number of the same health issue..but none
the less..as Mike states..it takes two to tango. ..Being a bitch owner..and
a stud dog owner..I have been on both sides of the fence. I put breeders
who assign blame in the same category as parents who think their children
can "do no wrong.." C.Grainger
