On Donna Sater's request, Jim and I are letting you know that Robert Scholes
is dying from cancer.
I spoke to Bob last week, and he was very upbeat. He is a person who would
love to hear from his friends, and we often talk so kindly about people in
ads and words when they have left us.
I am not accepting Bob's death, and I told him so. I am proud he considers
me a friend, and have felt that way for a long time. I hope to continue to
be his friend for many more years.
Do call, and let him know how much we appreciate him, and expect him to stay
with us for a long long time.
