Your boy will get in the "habit" of not using himself. Too many nice fronts
have been messed up by letting the dog "just get through it".
Find another vet who will medicate, MetaCam or something else (me, I'm not a
big fan of Rymadil). Kate S. in Canada told me about Orudis (over the
counter in the US) years ago and that worked like a charm. Recently, some of
the
listers have used Albon w/ success (not sure of the dosage or duration), but
for goodness sakes, don't just wait it out. Yes, he'll eventually get
better, but you risk messing up his potential movement.
