[ SHOWGSD-L ] Provisional Judges and AKC Reps

Out of curiosity...
I have been to two All Breed shows recently, where this topic came up. At the
one show, a Judge put up a dog, who was not the "popular" vote (but most
shepherd people would agree definitely was deserving of the win). Afterwards,
while waiting for pictures, she commented on the dog she had dumped, and
mentioned that she was glad she was no longer a provisional judge, or she was
sure the AKC Reps would be saying something to her about her judging.
Evidently, while she was a provisional, she was approached more than once by
AKC reps, and was basically told she needed to put certain popular dogs BOB, as
they would be expecting them in the Group Ring.... or something to that effect.
I heard the same comformation of similar situations from another judge more
recently. Does this really go on? Have any of the judges out there ever felt
pressure in this way. If so, dont you think thats rediculous?
