Truer words were never spoken!...great advice....but even if you are buying an
older dog...still be careful....theres a lot of sharks in the water...Ed

Just a thought; try to find and older puppy/younger dog. Take someone you
trust with you, perhaps the handler you plan to use to show the dog. A "puppy"
is no more or no less than a promise. Some are fulfilled while many, many
others end up (hopefully!) on someone's couch. You'll pay more, as you should
because someone else will have taken the risk of growing it out, x-raying etc.,
but you'll pay FAR LESS than buying two or three over time that end up on YOUR
couch.
