I do not understand when you say that UKC offers the total dog but AKC does not.
I am both an AKC judge and a UKC judge so I know not to what you refer. There
are good and poor judges in both venues (as in all life )

Ann, fiirst off I am not a breeder of GSD's. I had one litter of pups due to my
husband's irresponsiblity while I was away. Never wanted to nor ever care to
breed GSD's, but have been around them my whole life through family members from
Austria owning them to friends owning them . Show titles are not the most
important
thing to me, had lots with my horses not important. What is important,
is correct conformation for what the breed was created versatility,
health, temperament, etc.
UKC offers the total dogs where the dogs do it all but AKC does not offer this
nor would I ever believe you would ever show your dogs at UKC even through
Liz does.
