[ SHOWGSD-L ] Pancreatitis Non GS

 A friend in my bridge club has a maltese that has been diagnosed with 
pancreatitis.the vet is blaming the groomer for this, unclean conditions or 
some such.  I am highlyskeptical, but don't know enough about the disease to 
give her any advice.  I would truly appreciate any information you might have 
as to cause, treatment, etc.
