Here in Richmond Virginia they have no clue what falafel is, either. However, at the Warrenton and Old Dominion dog shows at the end of September, there was a vendor selling them...unfortunately, I didn't know until after he'd closed up, when I saw the sign...! Nothing like a great falafel!!!!!!!!! (I learned about falafel when I judged in Israel!!! Now THAT was a trip!)
