Yes, you do need a handler if your dog doesn't show well for you and
especially in the Specialty rings.
BUT if you have a good dog, that dog shows well for you and you show under
the right judges, "YES" you can WIN and finish them to their Championship!!
Have someone video you handling your dog and then watch it, this is the key!
Also ask other GS people what your dog looks like with you at the end of that
leash. Then have a handler gait your dog so you can see if there is a bigger
difference.
