I kinda had this a few years ago. I lost 4 girls to the same thing. =
Never
could revive them, they where born pink and everything. The one girl I =
got
her heart beating strong, but she never took more than one breath. You =
could
see her little heart beating in her chest, her color was good, as long =
as I
was breathing for her... but she wouldn't breath. Others would take a =
breath
or two then nothing, then another did what you explain as well and lived =
a
few days with my assistance, but would spit mom out and just didn't =
thrive.
Personally I always wondered if it was Mycoplasma. She had a high =
reading
and was treated with Baytril. Everyone said that would cure it , but I =
often
wonder. If you read about mycoplasma , It talks about this.

Okay everyone, I have a question for you all.? First let me preface this
with an explanation.? I had to have a c-section on my CH bitch this past
weekend, one day prior to her actual due date.? This was a litter that I =
was
very excited about and looking forward to tremendously.? Everything =
seemed
to be going well, except that it seemed to take an extra long time to =
get
the puppies revived and alert.? Anyway, we lost two puppies before we =
left
the vet's office, because we couldn't get them revived.? After bringing =
them
home, mom of course was too dopey to want to take care of the pups so we =
did
the hot water bottle and the periodic feedings to try to keep them going =
-
none of them really were showing any desire to nurse, spitting the =
nipples
out, etc.? Long story short, we have lost all but one little girl, and =
mom
is just starting to be herself. I have a theory as to what I think was =
the
cause, but I would like some other opinions, if anyone has one.
