Awesome book; best dog book I have ever read. The animal psychology; the
veterinary information; the history of man and dog; the author has great
insight into interpreting animal behavior. And what a heart he has!!
Really excellent read.

If anyone is looking for good canine reading material; check out Merle's Door.
I think it's on the NY best seller list. I usually shy a way from cutsy dog
books, but this one, besides being cutsy...offers very good insight from a
number of dog and wolf experts. It's about a lab mix and his wilderness
loving owner; is non fiction and well written. The ending is inevitable so be
prepared to bawl like a baby through the final 1/8 of the book....
