Thanks for all the answers. How interesting... and I think, Cool!  Are  
the nose prints, indeed, unique?  Do nose prints change as the dog  
grows older.  I think this would be such fun way to ID the dogs IF it  
was dependable and accurate.   Since it isn't used any longer, I'm  
assuming that they weren't (dependable and accurate).
