As far as the COATS are concerned, as it was stated before, they have always
been accepted to be shown, however, they usually end up at the end of the
line as they are faulted. There was a coated GSD who became a champion once,
can't remember the name. I think Crunch's mom was coated, too. Am I right?

Hi;
After reading Carolyn's post about AKC and the White GSD's as a new breed in
our lifetime, I though that I would tell you about a new breed that AKC
approved in May. They are called the Miniature American Shepherd. Any idea
of what the are or how they came to be?
Well, they were called the Miniature Australian Shepherd who's Club was
started in 1990, now as of May of 2011 they will be known as the Miniature
American Shepherd and a separate breed.
