I commend our board for doing the right thing. I will try to stop losing
weight, and if strong enough and able, attend the next board meeting to
give my
opinion. I would urge anyone who can, to send a letter to the board, and
attend the next meeting. This seems to be an important issue for our club.
We
now know that Mr. Hunte tried to challenge us to use our Logo for his
business, but we have it trade marked, and thanks to Kris, it was stopped.
Congratulations to the board for resolving a problem, and addressing it in
the best and proper way. We should ask our board members to commit to a
position, if they are able, and I know two have already put their opinion in
writing.
If the Board had any doubt of what we are up against with this applicant,
the whole Logo issue should be a HUGE warning sign. To challenge us, our club,
when he was in the WRONG? WTH???
I am not advocating to rush anything, even what should've been a non issue
from the beginning. But please, lets not drag this on forever.
