I think it is good to do it right, rather than fast. There were some
problems as to who gave Hunte his notice, and also, of course there should
have
been a chance for people to speak out and give their opinions before a vote
was
taken, since Hunte gave a presentation, and I understand Bill did as well.
I suppose a vote could have been taken, but then what would happen if
someone wanted another vote at the next meeting? It is better to do it right,
and
not rush into anything that might cause future problems. I will be
interested in hearing if any of our board failed to take part in the meeting.
I commend our board for doing the right thing. I will try to stop losing
weight, and if strong enough and able, attend the next board meeting to give
my
opinion. I would urge anyone who can, to send a letter to the board, and
attend the next meeting. This seems to be an important issue for our club. We
now know that Mr. Hunte tried to challenge us to use our Logo for his
business, but we have it trade marked, and thanks to Kris, it was stopped.
Congratulations to the board for resolving a problem, and addressing it in
the best and proper way. We should ask our board members to commit to a
position, if they are able, and I know two have already put their opinion in
writing.
Now can we talk about the White Shepherd?
