hello,
the photographers who submitted bids were all given equal consideration. no
matter who was chosen, there were going to be some unhappy exhibitors. just
because "your personal favorite" wasn't selected doesn't mean the person
selected is going to be a poor choice.
this IS NOT a popularity contest people.
there is also no unwritten law that says people who don't show german
shepherds can't take good pictures of german shepherds. the committee
responsible
for the selection chose the person they felt would be best for this
assignment. it doesn't mean they felt the other photographers weren't good
too. there
is a lot more to photographing an indoor national than photographing an
outdoor speciality. i don't think any of us should try to second guess what
was
decided since we didn't see the bids and don't know what the requirements
were.
