If the Staph was meth resistant staph then sulfa- Bactrin --is drug of choice
BUT that is in humans ( I am a people doc)
I feel
It is the same in dogs
It could still be an immune problem or just residual infection and could take
time
If the pup were mine I would give an appropriate weight dose of Bactrin-sulfa
We do not use drugs like Baytril in children ( pups) as it is contraindicated
as are all classes of quinolones of which Baytril is
