I just wanted to add that the VARL test is very good for food allergies. Do
the scabs get better and the itching after giving Frontline for flea control?
It really sounds like a flea allergy. You know it only takes one flea to reek
havoc with the immune system if the dog is sensitive. I also recommend giving
her Drontal Plus and see if that doesn't clear up the dry coat and shedding due
to tapeworms (everyone says I don't have fleas and I don't have tapeworms)you
may never see that one flea and you may never see tapeworms if the dog isn't
shedding them. I don't know where you live but all of us manage here in the
south and have learned this the hard way...paying specialists and doing baths.
This is the allergy capital of the world for dogs and people. Good luck.
