As has been stated here, a missing tooth other than a first premolar is a
serious fault. The truth is many dogs have finished with a missing tooth. I
have
a bitch like that.They have also been placed highly at our National Specialty
including the last one. Some judges do not see that the tooth is missing and
others seem not to care. Missing teeth seem to be having a resurgence after
being almost eliminated from the conformation ring. This may become a major
problem if it is not curtailed.
