"This show looked like a mini national. It was like the old days, almost. People were three thick around the ring, " I was also at the 3 day shows at Schiller Park and would not describe it anything close to a national or even a mini national...there were no east coast exhibitors or handlers there as in years past, handler participation was low but well represented by the Midwest but sad to say the youth of America was no where to be found. No juniors although maybe one or two in the making. Many people left early on Sunday. Plenty of seating around the ring. I remember a different "old day" in German Shepherds....it is a wake up call to everyone... Both Illini and Shoreline Clubs and it's members did an awesome job with hospitality! Love the homemade food and conversations. ============================================================================ POST is Copyrighted 2009.
