Today at the Elgin Kennel Club's Winter B-Match, Baerentatze's Jovan
(Utopia's Fugitive x Baerentatze's Tapestry) took Group 3 with his friend and
Junior
Handler, Melissa Chavez.
After taking Breed, Melissa & Jovan dashed over to the Junior Showmanship
ring, where she took a second place in a quality class of different breeds.
They did have a minute to catch their breath before heading into Group, where
they floated beautifully together to a Third Place.
Despite the frigid temperatures in Chicago today, there were nine different
herding breeds represented, and almost as many junior handlers.
