It will only be passed on if the dog is bred. My daughter had a great
dog with mega who lived a great life with her and her family. He died
at the age of nine, which is not really old, but certainly is a
respectable span of years. All of us loved him a lot, and would not have
missed having him in our lives for anything. Of course he was neutered.
