I, coming from AZ, have had a LOT of experience with Erlichia (Tick Fever).
NEVER has 3 weeks been enough. The MINIMUM treatment period is 3 MONTHS and
then retest. Unfortunately some dogs remain on Doxy for life.
I have treated more than one elderly dog and have had them recover fully.
I don't use Frontline as I have never had success with it. I have gotten
countless dogs into grooming that were on Frontline and still had ticks.
