Congrats......that is awesome!!! It is great when you have a judge that truly
will appreciate a coated dog and is not afraid to put it up. I have a lovely
coated black bitch that will be shown in her futurity........can't wait!!!

So proud to announce that Oak Ridge Fire Opal (Hailey), our long coated bitch
who won her long coat class at nationals, was awarded a major win and BOS over
specials by Bart Bartley at the Central New Mexico German Shepherd Dog Club
show on Saturday. Wow! Our great junior handler, Destanie Butler, showed her to
this win. We are all so thrilled!
Her sire, CH Oak Ridge Tanzanite 'N Topaz PT was only shown on Sunday, and took
BOS, owner handled! What fun! Thanks to judge, Kathy Casteel, who was patient
with some of us older folks as we attempted to show her our dogs.
Thank you to all the club members who did so much to put on a nice show. The
dinner Saturday night was superb.
To everyone who has a lovely coated puppy who really doesnât want to place
him/her in a pet home, get out and show!
