Hi everyone
Just thought I'd announce the arrival of 2 beautiful boys and 2 beautiful girls
- 1each sable, 1 each black/red. Dam is Flicona Kokomo 'A-Z' Breed Survey
Class I Multi-Excellent; Sire is Grantaro Gero 'A-Z' Breed Survey Class II.
Koko is the bitch I wrote to you all about having problems getting pregnant.
Turns out she did have mycoplasma (thanks everyone, again!!). She did still
absorb some puppies, but those remaining are fat, strong, happy and healthy!!
Koko is a VERY proud mum, and all are doing well.
My vet has already consulted a few colleagues (both here in Aust. and
overseas), and the consensus seems to be that the Mycoplasma is/was still in
her system, causing her to absorb some puppies (ultrasound showed minimum of
8). She will be going on a 6 week course of Baytril once puppies are weaned,
then she will be tested again prior to coming into season next time. She'll be
mated naturally next time. (did surgical implant this time).
