I think it would be a great idea to add these rules to the contract - and a
seminar at the national (I know the AKC gives them) for people putting on shows
is also a great idea - discussing it here on the list is also good - to clarify
procedure and what complaints are handled at a show and what are not . .

It is worrisome, and if the decline of entries is any indication, a lot of
people are leaving, new and old alike.
And we wonder why? I agree with your training idea. There may be times
when some are at fault by true lack of knowledge. This "training" will go a
long
way. Personally, I would endorse this. There is room for everyone to learn
something and would be a HUGE step in the right direction to avoid this
"issues" in the future.
It was suggested they add this rules to the contract judges sign when
elected to do the futurities and the national. With the right wording, there
is no
room for misunderstandings.
