There is nothing stopping you from pursuing your idea of the total dog. Some of us are quite happy and content with our dogs running in circles. We have no interest in CD's but that doesn't mean our dog isn't capable of acheiving it if we chose to participate in that venue. To each their own. There's no reason a dog couldn't at least get CD. A herding title require access to stock, an agility title requires both the dog and the handler be agile and tracking can be time consuming when you start aging tracks. Several years ago I told a fellow GSD person that my goal was to have an OTCH. , Ch., HCH GSD and their comment was that "I could do that with my border collie." I thought what happened to the "TOTAL DOG"? Diane ============================================================================ POST is Copyrighted 2004.
