I've been watching the emails from the Rally list for the first rally trails
that were held this weekend. It seems incredibly popular, and the entry
numbers were large. Many dogs successfully titled this weekend including the
first German Shepherd.
The first trials will be held here the weekend of 1/15, and there was a
limit of 175 per trial. Many are training and entering their dogs for this,
with
the bulk as owner handled. The fees to enter are the same as breed, but
without all of the other expenses involved as in agility.
There are less numbers showing in all the venues these days, but it is fun
to do it just to have the chance to work with your dog, one on one.
