Leather is the best! My dogs don't bother it, the cats don't claw on it.
Another advantage is you can use shoe polish to cover up any scratch marks when
you clean & treat the leather instead of investing in one of the treatment
kits. I highly recommend leather to anyone who lives with a furry herd like I
do.

I have just completed the remodeling of my family room and LOVE the new
porcelain tile which replaced the nasty carpet. Now we are trying to
furnish our new room. The problem is I love the leather couches and
loveseats but my oldest son (bless his little heart) has told me how much my
dogs will enjoy feasting on it. I would appreciate hearing about your
experiences with German Shepherds and leather. Would you recommend it? My
dogs are not presently "chewers" but would the smell of leather encourage
it? Thanks in advance for your input.
