Hi All;
I am usually at the Lab Speciality in Maryland, but due to a new job I could 
not go this year. I love this show, it is at the Holiday Inn with a beautiful 
flat grassy area for the rings.

There are usually 3 breed rings and you can set anywhere around the rings and 
see the action. On Friday the rings are opened to one big ring for Winners and 
BOB. Lots of great vendors too!

Even with the huge ring the Specials end up split in Groups. RV's park in the 
hugh parking lot, no hookups, but nice. There is a mall that you can walk to 
behind the hotel and a lot of inexpensive restaurants in the area.

I stay with my girlfriend in her RV, a bunch of us usually have a dinner one 
night where we all bring something, set and relaxe.

The weather can get chilly sometimes. but you just bring a variety of cloths 
and even in the rain the one year at least the grounds were not a sea of mud.

I have never been to the National, but my understanding is the Potomac draws a 
bigger enter and you have folks who bring their Labs from other country's.

Also, there are very few Handlers, most of the dogs are owner handled. I will 
be there next year and hopefully with a new Labby to show.
