Bonnie,
Highly doubtful that they are poisonous.? If they were, I would have one less
cat and fewer dogs.? They like to play with them and eat them.? I squirt Ivory
dishwashing liquid around all the plant areas.? I don't know if it works?to
keep them away, but I never seem to have them in the front yard, only in the
back.? No real plants in the back.? But, I do have a young tree, in the
back,?that's looking rather sickly.? Maybe I need to see if they are working on
that one.

P.S. If anyone knows a good way to get rid of Black Widow and Brown Recluse
spiders, please share.? They keep trying to eat my dogs :-(

Do any of you have a good home remedy to kill these things? They are invading
my flowers this year, and I don't want to use pesticides if I can help it-due

the dogs & wildlife (many hummingbirds too). The beetles are also in my water
buckets--I just dump them often, but are they poisonous in the dogs drinking
water? Just curious.
The only remedy I have tried is spraying dish liquid & water on the
plants....don't know if this really helps yet. Any info would be appreciated!
