Yes, it IS in the German Shepherd breed also. I have been testing for the
past 6-7years. Most of mine have been normal/normal, with a handful of
mutant/normal (two alleles per gene)....if a dog is mutant/mutant, they can
and usually do react in a potential lethal way. I have seen some dogs react
to this - some have indeed died...
Pixel has been tested normal/normal.
