I likewise have a breeding to the Girlz that I bought for that child, things
just never worked out jobwise; but the Giving was the important thing.

This kind of this has been done for fund raising before. I still have a
handling fee donated by Eric Norby from the List raffle [funds went to rescue]
and a breeding to Big Ben that Evan donated [frozen] for a child that needed
assistance a couple fo years ago - and didn't even have a bitch old enough
to breed back then. It was just fun bidding and the money was going to a good
cause. We raised funds both times and I really don't think the end results
were dog shows I attended just to burn the handling certificate or tons of
litters without planning....... not a my house anyway.......

Maybe it's because I haven't had my second cup of coffee yet, but why
all this negativity? This has been started, it's going great, And many
people are looking forward to perhaps a good breeding, if not donating to a
great cause.
Perhaps if those who think this is NOT a good idea couild think up a good way
to raise a lot of money quickly. Send the ideas to the Sunshine Squad. � It
can publicized �through our lists (and out there to other GSD owners).
�Let's be positive instead of negative, o.k.?
How many people would buy a raffle ticket (NOT a $2 one!) for a free (1 night)
room at the National Host Hotel? �Who would donate the room cost so the raffle
could work to the max?
Or the tickets to the Victory Dinner? �Handler's fees? �Which handler
would donate their fees at an important show/futurity/national?
See... easy to be negative, hard to think up ideas, huh? �
