[ SHOWGSD-L ] It is an emergency

I noticed that I have two dogs out in the runs that did not turn out to be
top show quality, and they are still eating, and demanding a lot of our time
for care and training.
If we don't find a way to replace them with show quality German shepherds,
it will cause a great loss to the support of handlers, and show entries. This
could cause the AKC to lose a great deal of money in entries that could result
in less shows and further depression in the show world.
I am suggesting a national bail out. We need our parent club to take
$40,000,000 and allow Sheree Moses to go around the country and buy up those
dogs
out there that are not going to enter shows, and let those of us who find
ourselves in this position the ability to then go out and buy better quality
animals, that will enter the shows, and be shown by the handlers, who then can
earn fees. This will stimulate the show economy and save the AKC from going
under.
This has to be done before Saturday, and it is time we all came together and
forgot our differences in how we view the standard, and urge the GSDCA to
provide the funds to avoid a terrible slowdown in the rings throughout our
great
nation. This is a problem of such proportion that it calls for an
immediate action without any need for the board to be consulted, and should be
done
with no discussion or consideration.
I urge Gail to assign this to Sheree, and to do so before Saturday when it
will be too late.
