About the same thing can be said about Judging dog shows.
1. get to the airport hours early only to sit and wait for an hour to take 
off
2.  Change airplanes and sit in another airport for a couple more hours
3.  Get picked up at the airport. and deposited at the motel. If we are 
lucky the club has enough members so that someone takes you to dinner.  If 
not you eat by your self because everyone is setting up the ring
4.  usually on your own for breakfast (that's ok)
5.  get taken to the show site.  Try not to chat too much with people you 
have known for 30 yrs.  Wouldn't want anyone to get the wrong idea- they 
will anyway
6.  Judge and only make 3 people happy
7.   Dinner with some of the club members Thank heavens because unless they 
won no one else wants to eat with you

8. Back to airport 1,   another hour wait at airport 2 -
9.  2 hours late getting home

I've been in most of The major cities in the country and have never seen a 
thing.
