I can't believe it...you've never been to New York?
You will probably find Westminster boring. The crowds are terrible,
food (when you can find it) close to inedible at the Garden itself...and
expensive most other places unless you know where to go. Even McDonalds
is more expensive in the City (and yes, there's only one City on this
continent...there are two other Cities I know of, London and
Sydney.........but on this continent, there is only one.)
We used to be allowed to stand in the "waiting" area by
ringside...most people aren't allowed to do that any more...and the
rings at the Garden are very small, esp. for Shepherds...the sure way to
mess a dog up is to double it, because there's no place to gait to. A
big sidegaiting dog can't get three steps on any side, and probably not
on the diagonal, either. It's a show to "pose" at...that's all. And
everybody knows this breed has to be judged on sidegait, no? ;-)
BUT - FB, when you're in NYC, there are so many OTHER things to
see...just get a list and go see them! Go to Ground Zero, for one
thing...it'll really get to you.
I can't believe it...never been in New York!!! What a
shame........glad you're finally remedying that!
