I know that the time is coming when I won't be able to handle my sheps - right now it's a job. At that time - still in the future - I would like a Cardie. I had a couple years ago who were really sheps that stayed in the drier too long and shrank down in size. They did a good job of bossing the sheps, guarding the house, etc. And when a Cardie I knew years ago - city raised and never trained for anything except his chamionship - was taken to a farm, he herded the horses and brought them in. And I prefer the Cardie to the Pem. Elaine --------------------------------- Never miss a thing.
